Panic
Imagine writing and recording one of the best albums of the last 20 years, just to sit and wait for it to be released.
Imagine that.
Imagine that.

Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others
So we finished tour with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Sherwood. Both bands are genuine, good guys and have worked hard to get where they are. Much respect.
It was personally my favorite tour to date, and I even got to sing with Sherwood on the last night in London, when they did a cover of Holiday by The Get Up Kids! Thanks to everyone we met. We will see you again.
We have loads of new dates with You Me At Six and Furthest Drive Home and we even get to go to Ireland to play with Steer Clear for a couple of shows, so we're very excited about that. I've never been to Ireland!
We also shot a video for our new single Bon Voyage which is now up on our myspace page! We're so excited about everyone hearing it, we've had a great response already, so thanks so much for all the feedback!
We're still in talks with labels about releasing our album, and nothing is set in stone, so we'll let you know exactly what happens, when it happens!
I'm off to eat some Cadbury's Milk Chocolate, you know just the standard bars, I'm ADDICTED to them at the moment. Godbless.

Rubber Ring
Everything is tracked. The album is done.
It's unbelievable.
I can't wait for you to hear it, we've put everything into it, absolutely everything.
We're exhausted, and we'll be back touring in May.
We don't have a label to release it on yet, but when we do, you'll be first to know. (well, we'll tell our immediate family first I imagine, not on purpose or anything, its just natural reaction you know!?)
Get fucking mad!!!

Bigmouth Strikes Again
Greetings,
I suppose I should write something in the vein of a 'tour blog' seeing as we just returned from a country-wide jaunt with our good friends Jaimison and our new friends Canterbury. But there is far too much information to write here so I'll just talk about the golden moments. We started in Southampton, at a club called unit 22, it was our first show of 2008 and it was SO much fun, thank you so much to everyone that made it out that night. It didnt even start until 10.30 pm so everyone was pretty shattered after it, and I felt so out of shape after the long break since our last show in december!
The London date of our tour was excellent, I was really suprised to see so many new faces at the Water Rats, and was completely blown away by how many of you where into it! It was our first proper London headline show so thanks a bunch to everyone that made it out. It was a total shame that Jaimison couldnt play that show, for some reason they didnt get booked and I was totally gutted about it. I think that everyone there would have loved them so check them out. That day i remembered how completely toilet british public transport is when i had to get to tottenham ct. road and back before we played. it took me about a hundred hours.
Scott (Canterbury's drummer) allways had his video camera out poking it in peoples noses, and he is making a tour video, so im sure if you watch that then you will get the idea of how much fun we all had. (one other thing about canterbury, is that they LOVE to dance. they didnt stop for the whole bloody tour. godbless.)
As many of you probably already know, we've been writing for our debut full length, which is almost finished and will be recorded next month. We've been playing a couple of songs from the album recently and we've been getting a good vibe from people about them so im really excited to get the record finished and in your ears!!! we also have a new shirt so check that out if you havent already.
I think writing this has made my eyes go square, so I should stop before it turns into a hardback novel. We are planning to tour again at the end of may and through some of june so keep your eyes peeled for those dates we'll be playing some more of the new stuff, and it will be the last tour we do with chris our bassplayer so lets make it one to remember!!
Kind Regards,
Samuel.

Rush And A Push And The Land Is Ours
It's Saturday 23rd of Feb.
Frank and Chris are back from The Rocket Summer tour. I went and saw them in Manchester and it was a good night. I went to a club after and got kicked out because I took a drink outside. They said we couldn't return for at least 6 months. Good.
We've been writing lots recently, we're not far off finishing the album now. We're all very proud of it, and it feels right. There is a special feeling about it, like we're sitting on something big. We'll just have to see what happens when everyone hears it!
We're recording the drums and bass at British Grove studios which we're extremely excited about. It's the same studio The Beatles recorded the Sgt. Pepper album, which completely blows our mind. The guitars/vocals etc we're doing between Outhouse Studios and our friend Josh (who recorded the EP.)
So a few days ago Chris announced that after the album is recorded he will no longer be playing with us. He's going back to university in Huddersfield. We're all gutted about this decision, but as a friend and a human being, we support him all the way. He'll still be part of Kill The Arcade whatever he does.
So that's about it really! We go on tour next week with Canterbury and Jaimison which I'm very excited about, as I love both bands. Come see us if we're playing near you! We're playing two new album songs, and we'll have new merch for sale (which includes our homage to The Smiths t-shirt)
Keep well, and get mad!

Girlfriend In A Coma
Canterbury inspired me to start this blog.
I'm currently laying on my bed, watching Eastenders and thinking about packing my suitcase.
I go on the Kerrang! Tour with Chris N for two weeks as from tomorrow, helping out with all his Atticus stuff so that should be good. If any of you are at any of the dates, come to the Atticus stand and say hello!
Frank is away pretty much exactly the same time as I am with The Secret Handshake, as he is playing drums for Luis on the whole tour. Chris is going too; I think he is driving and doing merch. We're meeting up in Manchester after their show as we have a day off, so that should be a fruitful rendez-vous.
We're still writing for the album, and we're over half way in. It's the best music we've ever written by far. So we're extremely excited and impatient about getting it out. It doesn't have a title yet, but we'll keep you informed. Recording commences April 1st through to May 1st.
As far as touring is concerned, I'm itching to play again. It feels like I haven't played for about 67 years but its been about a month. We're touring from Feb 28th - March 10th all around the UK with Canterbury and Jaimison. Two very brilliant bands. (We'll put the dates up on our page in the next couple of days. ) Listen to them here...www.myspace.com/canterbury & www.myspace.com/jaimisonband .
I think that pretty much sums it up for now, oh actually we have new merch. We'll put it up for sale very soon. Everything else is now sold out! We did put in another order for the monster shirts as well, as they seem to be the most popular!
Right everyone, I need to check my tumble drier to make sure my clothes haven't shrunk to Action Man size.
Lee.
